Whatever you celebrate — Christmas, Hanuka, Kwanzaa, Diwali, Solstice, New Years — this is the time of year for new beginnings, for a return of hope and light and warmth, for remembering our friends and neighbors and family, near and far, and for considering those less fortunate than ourselves.
