Wild Animals Live Around Here

This week, one of our neighbors messaged us to warn about a building issue:  Some of our wild neighbors – bobcat, coyotes and javelinas – are jumping fences and attacking family members, trashing our yards and generally being nuisances.  These wild neighbors have been living here for thousands of years.

I don’t have a solution for our neighbors on lower Cheyenne who left this message for me.  They did not ask for the animals to be destroyed, but they sound truly frustrated, having lost 3 pets already.  They said Fish and Wildlife refused to do anything to help them.  They wanted us to know that the size of wild animal populations is becoming an issue.

The more humans and the more wild animals we have around, the more likely dangerous interactions will occur.  Take precautions, so we can enjoy the beauty of these wild neighbors.
