A New Feature: Members-Only Pages

Why? Why do we need more complexity? We don’t. But sometimes it is helpful to be able to get information to our members and just to our members… avoiding things going out to the entire world on the internet.

Starting today, members with registered emails can log in to our website, and will be able to see information that non-members cannot view. Our starter page, “Where We Get Our Email”, is fairly unimpressive. But that’s because we want to make sure this is working for everyone who is interested.

How do I log in? At the rightmost of the menu bar at the top of our website is a “Login” item. Click on that. A form comes up where you fill in your email and your password. Your email should be the same one you registered for membership with. For password, well… it’s not set yet, so it doesn’t matter, does it. This first time, just enter “UNSET”. Then press “Submit”. Your first login will fail. Next, click on “Lost your password?”.

The website will send you to a new page, where you fill in your email address. The website then sends an email to your email address with a link to set your password. Find that email, and click on the link. (The page the website goes to next is not important. You can close that page.) Go to the email. Set your password and remember it. When you are done, there will be a link to Login. So log in again, this time using your new password. And, TAH-DAH! You have Members Only Access!

If this doesn’t work, first, just try to refresh the page, by clicking as shown below. Sometimes, at first logins, the webpage doesn’t know you are logged in yet.

If that still doesn’t work, come back here and click the “HELP” button below. This will take you to a page to send an email to our Webmaster, who will call you and set up a time to work this out with you.
