INITIAL REPORT: August 20, 2022, 2000:
Recent rains have swollen Espero Wash and closed both Sunrise Road and Snyder Road, both between Sabino Canyon Road and Kolb Road. Road Closures in Pima County. NextDoor post by Chuck Kennedy of Sunrise Flood.
UPDATE: August 22, 2022, 20:44. Snyder Road between Sabino Canyon and Kolb is “open” while still having several inches of water flowing across it. Sunrise Road remains Closed to Thru Traffic.
UPDATE: August 24, 2022, 15:55. Sunrise Road remains Closed to Thru Traffic. Road closure site reports construction at this location.

| **UPDATE** Sunrise Drive Road at the Esperero Wash Pima County, Ariz. (Aug 25) – Sunrise Drive at the Esperero Wash between Barrasca Avenue to Via Umbrosa will be reopened Friday, August 26, 2022 by 5 a.m. Permanent repairs will be performed after monsoon. Updates will be provided as soon as a repair schedule becomes available. Please plan your travel accordingly.
