Ongoing Noise Concern & Neighborhood Courtesy Reminder

Ongoing Noise Concern & Neighborhood Courtesy Reminder

We’ve received a concern from a resident on Amethyst Lane regarding a dog in the neighborhood (believed to be near N. Cheyenne Trail) that has been left outside barking for extended periods of time—sometimes for over an hour—on a frequent basis over the past few months.

We understand that pets will bark occasionally, but prolonged, repetitive barking can be very disruptive for surrounding neighbors and may also indicate that the animal is in distress.

As a friendly reminder to all residents:
• Please be mindful of noise levels, especially with outdoor pets
• Ensure your pets have proper access to water, shade, and a comfortable environment
• If your dog tends to bark when left outside, consider bringing them indoors or checking on them more frequently

We all share this community, and a little awareness goes a long way in keeping it peaceful and enjoyable for everyone—humans and pets alike. Thank you for being considerate neighbors.
