FireWise Is A Hot Topic

Saturday, September 6, at 10:30 am, 5 firefighters and 56 members of our community attended our “Is Your Fire Insurance At Risk?” seminar at the Tucson Auto Museum’s meeting room. We watched a video of a neighborhood on fire during the Marshall Fire in Colorado, then discussed Defensible Space, the perimeter needed to keep your home safe. The presenters explained FireWise inspections and what happens during one. At the back of the meeting, a table held literature and a sign up for FireWise inspection.
