Dog Gone – A Recap

Dog Gone – A Recap

As of this morning, it seems no one has claimed the dog wandering our streets. We’ve had good feedback, though, from many neighbors, as to his perambulations from Snyder to Hidden Valley to Rawhide. Thanks for that.

Neighbor Chandra Crisp tried to get Pima Animal Care to come out. Animal control will come out for loose dogs that are non-threatening if you have a location on them. Since this one is on the move, they won’t come and just canvas the neighborhood. However, she said she has been working with the Lost And Stray Response Squad. They work to safely trap stray pets such as this pup.

Her number is (520) 307-0801, and she asks that neighbors send her a photo of the animal anytime they spot it — or at least, a text message of location and particulars . She will work with the Lost And Stray Response Squad to get them the details so they may be able to successfully trapped this pup.

Chandra reminds folks not to try to chase or capture the dog — that causes them to run further. Just snap a pic and message it to Chandra with any details, each time you sight the animal.
