A Warning: If you go down in the woods today…

A neighbor reported to another neighbor and it got around to us, of seeing a bear cub near Cheyenne and Bauxite.

The incident happened a couple days ago now, but the point is: where there is a bear cub, there is probably a protective bear mama. Stay clear, and report any sighting at once to AZ Game and Fish at once.

And before this could even come out on updates… a confirmation! Another neighbor sent pictures a bear cub seen at Wes Miller Park yesterday evening. Keep dogs on leashes and use caution!

Arizona Game & Fish have been notified. Presently they are hoping the bear continues northward into the mountains. 

If you sight it South of its last location (Wes Miller park) call Game & Fish to advise. Or if the bear is getting into things on your property or causing other problems, also call to advise.
