On September 30, 2026, we kicked off our annual Membership Drive for 2027. Notices were mailed and emailed. And the response was IMPRESSIVE! We have already obtained nearly 28% of our base target of 165 memberships. We have 39 members who have renewed already and 4 new memberships. This is the highest response rate in the last 4 years! Hi Neighbors, We are currently looking for volunteer Block Leaders for Blocks 10 and 12. I’ve attached a neighborhood map highlighting the two blocks so you can see if one of them is near you. You can also view it online here. The Block Leader role is intentionally pretty simple. The goal is just to have someone who keeps an eye on what’s happening around their block and lets us know if they notice anything unusual or suspicious. You don’t need to patrol the neighborhood, confront anyone, or take on a significant time commitment. It’s simply another way for neighbors to stay …

A neighbor has reported to the county the downed Street sign at the corner of Moonstone and Rawhide. This is what community is about. Hi Felix. I noticed cycling this week that the street sign on the corner of Moonstone and Rawhide (on the east side) is laying down. Not sure if the storm or a human took it out. On July 12, a microburst came through the neighborhood, knocked out the power, and donwed some trees, including some in the Wes Miller Park.  I have gone through the trails to remove imminent hazardous.  The rest will be taken care of in about a week. Please remember the park is a wild place, so watch your step — below and above — appreciate your surroundings, stay alert, and feel welcome to report any hazards or suggestions. The work appears to be complete. Crews determined that the leak was coming from the main water line and were able to make the repair without shutting off water service to any homes. The road has been reopened to traffic, and the area has been patched. While the patch is a bit rough, the roadway is open and passable. Thank you to everyone for your patience while the repairs were being completed.

Neighborhood Construction Update – Sunday, July 5 (10:45 AM) We wanted to share a quick update for neighbors regarding the activity on Moonstone this morning. Construction crews and the water company are currently responding to a water leak in the wash along Moonstone. At this time, they are working to determine whether the leak is coming from a water line or a sewer line. If they determine it is a sewer line issue, the appropriate sewer crews will also be dispatched. Road closure signs have been placed at Ocotillo & Moonstone and are expected to also be in place at Moonstone & Bighorn. …

Dear Neighbors, Two cats have been observed wandering near the Amethyst Lane and Cheyenne Trail area. One is a gray and white cat and the other is a black cat (photos below).While the gray and white cat has simply been seen outdoors a couple of times, the black cat is disrupting the neighborhood by chasing wildlife and hissing at indoor pets through windows. A neighbor also recently observed that the black cat appears to be a bit beat up.
